Who owns what, how to version changes, and known drift between this document and shipped surfaces.

Versioning

This site tracks the brand document version in the sidebar (v2.1). When the brand changes materially, bump the version in scripts/nav.mjs (SITE.version), update BRAND_GUIDELINES.md, and update the affected page fragments.

When a piece of work contradicts these guidelines, the work changes or the guidelines get versioned. Nothing in between.

How to propose a change

Edit brand-guidelines/BRAND_GUIDELINES.md (source of record).
Update the matching src/pages/*.html fragment(s).
Bump SITE.version if the change is material.
Run npm run build and deploy.

Known drift register

These contradictions exist between v2.1 and shipped surfaces. They are documented here; none is silently resolved by this site build.

Resolving drift requires a coordinated update across the relevant site(s), not a silent edit in one place.
